Dr. Jayanta Boruah is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law in the Department of Law at the Central University of Karnataka. He did his Ph.D from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. He has obtained a Gold Medal in LL.M. from NLU Assam and also a Gold Medal in MA Sociology from KKHSOU. He is UGC NET qualified and AIBE qualified. He has done a BA in Political Science, BA.LL.B., MA Sociology, LL.M. Certificate Courses in Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law, Space Law, Access to Justice, and Human Rights and Criminal Justice Administration, and Diploma in IPR. He has published around 50 papers in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters and Conference Proceedings, and has also authored three books. He has edited a number of volumes with ISBNs.
Dr. Boruah has also served in many institutions as Resource Persons, Moot Court Judges, Editors of Journals, and Faculty of Law.
