Journal of Legal Studies

Introduction

The Central University of Karnataka Journal of Legal Studies is a biannual, international, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the field of law. While its primary focus is on contemporary legal issues, it also encourages interdisciplinary research from other fields, providing a clear connection to legal institutions, instruments, or matters that are established and emphasized to meet the journal's criteria.

The journal broadly welcomes submissions from various branches of law, including but not limited to Human Rights, Humanitarian Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Environmental Law, Public and Private International Law, Air and Space Law, Drone Law, Martial Law, Sports Law, and Fashion Law. It also invites contributions in the form of panel discussions, conference reports, case commentaries, book reviews, and analyses of legislation and policies that highlight recent developments in legal fields. Additionally, submissions outside the strict domain of law are considered, as long as they establish a relevant link to legal matters and incorporate an interdisciplinary approach.

However, the journal will not publish content that comments on cases pending in any court or matters that could potentially lead to Contempt of Court under Indian Jurisprudence, even if such content does not violate Indian laws or laws of other jurisdictions.
