About

Dr. Anant D. Chinchure is a Graduate in Science and Law and did a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and a Master’s in Corporate (Mercantile) Laws. Obtained Ph.D. degree on the work on “Legal regime of Hacking with special reference to Ethical Hacking as a Defensive mechanism: A critical study”. From 2004 to 2019, I was a teaching faculty member in Sidhartha Law College (Government aided), Kalaburagi and Guest Faculty at Post-Graduate Department of Management, Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi. He also taught in the Department of Post-Graduate Studies and Research in Law, Gulbarga University, and in Visveswarayya Technological University’s (VTU) study centre at Kalaburagi. He has experience working as a Law Officer at the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka, Regional Office, Kalaburagi. He is associated with Police Training Centres of Karnataka as a Visiting Faculty and drafted a course module on the subject of Cyber Crime and Law for Police officers trainees. He has published 08 research articles on techno-legal aspects of cybercrime and law in national repute journals and presented more than 25 research papers in international and national seminars and workshops; edited and published 04 compilations of articles presented in Seminars. He has credit of organising 04 National Level Seminars/Workshops and 03 State Level Seminars funded by Government agencies. Completed a research project approved by University Grants Commission, New Delhi; drafted course modules on Cyber Law and Information Technology, Intellectual Property Law, Business Laws, etc. for different Universities and Institutions. In 2013, the “Academy of Cyber Law Education, Research and Response” (A-CLEAR) was established, a unique centre of study on cyber law and crime-related issues. His areas of specialization include Cyber Law, Criminal Law, and Corporate Law. His areas of interest include Intellectual Property Rights and Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems.
